Consultant 2.5 Fills Gaping Need For Palm Synchronization In Mac PIM Market

PROVO, UTAH - September 28, 1998 -- Chronos L.C. today announced the
release of Consultant 2.5, the award-winning organizer for MacOS computers.
The new 2.5 version sports Palm synchronization capabilities among a slew
of new features.

Palm Synchronization

Consultant 2.5 is a full-featured personal information manager (PIM) that
integrates time, contact, and communication management seamlessly in a
multi-user package. Consultant is turning heads because of its elegant
interface, ease of use, and depth of features. Of particular interest to
owners of PalmPilot, Palm III, and other PalmOS connected organizers, is
Consultant's new ability to synchronize with the Date Book, Address Book,
To Do List, and Memo Pad applications.

New Consultant 2.5 Features

In addition to Palm synchronization, Consultant 2.5 adds many new features:

(a) Consultant now lets users assign unlimited categories to appointments,
to-dos, contacts, and memos.

(b) Users may now define hierarchical categories in which categories may
have nested sub-categories.

(c) Individual activities, contacts, memos or the entire Journal view may
now be designated as "private." Private items are invisible until a special
password is entered.

(d) Users may now dial contact phone numbers via internal modems, PCMCIA
card modems, and Sophisticated Circuit Inc.'s Desktop Dialer.

(e) Users may now schedule daily repeating activities in addition to
weekly, monthly, and annually. Furthermore, three new variations to the
weekly, monthly, and annually repeating types have been added for even
greater scheduling flexibility.

Distribution and Pricing

Chronos believes users should have the opportunity to try the software for
free before they buy. Consultant and a 250-page reference manual are
available for download from Chronos' website at (www.chronosnet.com). The
software may be registered on-line for $49.95 or $39.95 without Palm sync.
Chronos also offers Consultant on CD with a 90-page printed user manual for
$59.95.
