Steve Wilmes Consulting, Inc. announces the release of Big Board FM, a
web based forum for PC and Macs running FileMaker Pro 4.0

Minneapolis, MN, USA--June 24, 1998--Steve Wilmes Consulting, Inc. today
announces the release of Big Board FM, their Web based forum software for
FileMaker 4.0. The product is the second in the Big Board family. A
previous version runs only on Macs and needs both a web server and Lasso
2.5 in addition to FileMaker Pro 4.0. Big Board FM needs only FileMaker Pro
4.0.

"This version of Big Board brings hosting of discussion forums to the
masses" says Steve Wilmes, President of Steve Wilmes Consulting, Inc. "Just
about anyone with FileMaker Pro 4.0 can host a discussion forum that just
about anyone with a browser can access. Using the built in web
serving/database integration of FileMaker 4.0, we were able to give people
80% of the features of our original Big Board product. Then we built in
some new features and found a large speed increase."

Big Board FM has some exciting new features like web based administration
and the ability to have "unlimited" forums off of one file set. The product
will be a good fit for tech support forums, focus groups, class
discussions, and anything else that needs a dynamic, easy to follow format
for discussions.

Big Board FM features include:
- Threaded messages that can go 10 levels deep.
- View the thread you're in and the message you're on while reading
messages.
- Post text or HTML messages
- Auto Email responses to messages.
- Easy to use, framed based interface.
- Two list views, by thread or messages.
- Full search archive of old messages.
- Unlimited number of forums, each with own administrator and settings.
- Easy to administer and customize.
- Complete online help.

User Requirements:
- Any PC, Mac, or Unix computer with a graphics display of 256 colors and
640x480 or better.
- Netscape 2.0 or later, Internet Explorer 3.0 or later or other frame
capable browser.

Server Requirements:
- A machine running Windows 95, Win NT 3.5.1 or newer, or Mac OS 7.1 or newer
- 16 MB of RAM
- FileMaker 4.0 (www.filemaker.com)
- Constant, static IP Internet or Intranet access
