New Antenna Boosts Wireless Performance for iMac G5 Owners

WICHITA, Kan. --12/14/05-- Apple iMac G5 users can now get improved
wireless networking performance with a new external antenna. QuickerTek's
new 5.5 dBi omni-directional antenna offers iMac G5 users the best
all-around antenna solution for networks where a directional antenna limits
AirPort signal strength and speed.

The new iMac G5 Antenna offers 5.5dBi of RF power, which means that
wireless networking distances can be as much a three times further than
when using the stock antenna. It also means that the signal will also allow
a full speed connection - so that not only will users be able to use more
networks, but also use them at the highest speeds possible. The suggested
retail price is $99.95.

A three-foot coax cable comes with the antenna for mounting up where signal
strength can be maximized. It works with Mac OS already on the iMac G5 and
is equally suitable for AirPort and AirPort Extreme networks.

"The only thing the super-cool iMac G5 could possibly need is better
wireless and this new antenna delivers," said Rick Estes, president
QuickerTek. "Whether you need upstairs and downstairs connections to your
AirPort Base Station, or you just need more distance and speed, this new
