New Aleratec hard disk drive duplicator also does JBOD Storage

Aleratec, a developer and manufacturer of solutions for the Blu-ray,
DVD/CD, Flash, HDD, USB duplicating, and DVD/CD publishing markets,
has announced the stand-alone 1:1 HDD Cruiser, a high speed 1:1 hard
disk drive duplicator that can copy a hard drive at speeds up to
70MB/sec. The 1:1 HDD Cruiser is a stand alone unit that has the
ability to quickly make a copy of a SATA 3.5 inch hard disk drive,
making it an essential tool for quickly installing or upgrading new
computer systems. This innovative unit is also equipped with a USB
2.0 port that allows you to access both SATA drive bays from your
computer. This USB access is a powerful feature to help you view and
edit hard drives before duplicating.

" The 70MB/sec copy speed of our new Aleratec 1:1 HDD Cruiser is
twice as fast as many competitive offerings and it is equipped with
quick load bays so there are no cumbersome external cables needed.
It is a fast and convenient HDD duplicator. Just load your source
and target drives in the drive bays and close the bay doors. The 1:1
HDD Cruiser will copy the exact content and format of the source
drive to the target. This is a powerful and effective tool to upgrade
hard drives for multiple systems and ideal for IT departments and
small office Prosumer users." said Perry Solomon, President and CEO
of Aleratec. "With the USB 2.0 port connected to both drive bays
provides JBOD access to drives in each bay. A customer can attach
the 1:1 HDD Cruiser to a PC, load it with hard drives, and use it for
additional storage or backup when not duplicating. Only Aleratec
offers an affordable, easy to load and unload, hard drive duplicator
with these extra features."

The 1:1 HDD Cruiser's drive bays are equipped with quick and easy
loading doors. Open the drive bay door to load or unload a drive, it
is that simple. The drive bays are metallic for optimum thermal
conductivity minimizing any issues that can be caused by overheating
of drives in process. When drives are loaded in the drive bays and
the drive bay doors closed, high integrity electrical and data
connections are made automatically. Each drive bay has internal Non
Scratch SATA connectors designed for greater than 50,000 swap cycles
minimizing worries about drive connection issues.

The Aleratec 1:1 HDD Cruiser (Aleratec Part No. 350103, Ingram Micro
SKU V04410) is proudly assembled in the USA from components sourced
globally. With an estimated retail price of only $315, it is a must
have for IT departments or anyone that is updating systems.

The 1:1 HDD Cruiser supports 3.5 inch SATA hard disk drives, but to
make the unit even more versatile, an optional 2.5 inch SATA hard
drive adapter 2 pack is also available with an estimated retail price
of $36.99 (Aleratec Part No. 350106, Ingram Micro SKU V10970).

When customers purchase an Aleratec 1:1 HDD Cruiser they qualify for
two Aleratec 2.5" Adapters for 3.5-inch drive bays free via mail in
rebate, a $36.99 value. Go to http://www.aleratec.com/rebates.html
for details, terms and conditions. The offer is good until March 31.
