Media 100 announces support for AJA's KONA LHi video card

Media 100 -- a provider of advanced editing systems for the
corporate, broadcast, postproduction, and new media industries -- has
announced that Media 100 Version 13.0.3 is now available. Media 100
13.0.3 adds support for AJA's KONA LHi video card, taking advantage
of the KONA LHi's new HDMI output feature.

AJA KONA LHi bridges the gap between legacy analog devices and the
latest HDMI v1.3a enabled products. KONA LHi interfaces with the
latest PCIe Apple Mac OS X hardware and offers integrated support for
Media 100, allowing editing, monitoring and mastering of professional
quality video in an affordable, easy to use product.

Media 100 13.0.3 also adds new support for importing P2 media in the
DV100_720/50p codec. Media 100 Version 13 customers may download the
v13.0.3 update free of charge from the Media 100 web site at
http://www.media100.com/support/downloads.php. A full-functioning
14-day trial version of Media 100 is also available for free download
at http://www.media100.com/support/downloads.php.

Announced at NAB 2009, Media 100 Suite is next-generation Media 100
software with Multicam Editing and Boris RED. In addition to AJA and
Media 100 HDx video I/O cards, Media 100 Suite will support Matrox
MXO2 for portable, broadcast-quality input/output, monitoring, and
up/down/cross conversion. Media 100 Suite will also include a new
Voice Over Tool for audio recording direct to the Media 100 timeline.

Media 100 Suite will be available in July 2009 for a manufacturer's
suggested retail price of US$1,295. Media 100 Suite will replace the
Media 100 and Media 100 Producer software applications. Customers who
purchase Media 100 now will receive a free upgrade to Media 100
Suite. Media 100 Producer customers will be able to upgrade to Media
100 Suite for $595.
