[MD1] Troi Text Plug-in 1.0 for FileMaker

[MD1] Troi Text Plug-in 1.0 for FileMaker

Alphen a/d Rijn, The Netherlands, March 11, 1998 -- Troi Automatisering
announces the beta release of Troi Text Plug-in 1.0, for FileMaker Pro 4.0
both on Macintosh and Windows.

This Cross-platform FileMaker Pro 4.0 plug-in adds the SumText function to
FileMaker Pro 4.0. With this you can create a dynamic field, that
concatenates all the text from a field in a related file. Everytime records
get added or deleted to the related file the SumText is automatically
updated. It is the text equivalent of the Sum() function for numbers.

Peter Baanen, company president, states "After the release of Troi FM
Plug-in we were asked to find a solution to this problem. Luckily we could
do it. The SumText function is very handy for building a list of contact
persons of a company, or multikeys. Why limit yourself to the sum of a
number. Just try it out".

A fully functional version of Troi Text Plug-in 1.0b1 is available for
downloading at Troi's Web site at: (http://www.troi.com/). On the site
there is a Macintosh (.hqx) or a windows version (.zip) of the package.
Each package contains BOTH the Macintosh version as well as the windows
version of the plug-in. Only the compression and (text)formatting is
different. This is a beta version that will expire on 30-Jun-98.

Troi TEXT Plug-in will be available as try-before-you-buy software. A
single user copy will cost $ 15 (Site license: $ 100). A special license
for Solution Developers is available at $ 80.
