[MD1] REALbasic: 2.1a24

REAL Software is pleased to announce the latest development release of
REALbasic: 2.1a24.

These alpha releases are for testing purposes only and are not considered
the current release of REALbasic. Projects saved in alpha releases of 2.1
cannot be opened in REALbasic 2.0.2. You should not use alpha releases for
mission-critical development. There is a specific mailing list hosted at
REAL Software for discussing the alpha testing releases: Subscribe to this
list by sending an email containing "subscribe realbasic-dr" (without the
quotes) to: requests@lists.realsoftware.com.

* [Bug] Win32 Styled text printer now works. (BugBase #524)
* [Bug] Fixed SQL 'OR' Operator in REAL DB. (BugBase #551)
* [Bug] Win32 plugin classes now operational - event
instances not implemented yet
* [Bug] Using balloon help in menu bars no longer leaks
memory. (Mac Issue) (BugBase #578)
* [Bug] Win32 tab panels no longer require a user refresh
before looking their best. (BugBase #544)
* [New] Added Redo Cmd-Key shortcut. (Shift Cmd Z)
* [New] Added Region Code selector to the Build Application
Dialog. (BugBase #600)
* [Bug] Quitting RB after changing settings in the 'Build
Application' dialog now ask user if they want to
save.
* [Opt] REALbasic applications built with 2.1a20 and higher
are faster than previous versions. Expect a Real
World performance increase of 4%, although we have
seen speed ups in the 30% range. Test your applications and
let us know your mileage.
* [Bug] Build Dialog is properly closed when build fails
* [Chg] New and improved error messages are displayed when
the a REALbasic build fails.
* [Chg] Error messages are displayed when trying to use
unsupported text styles under windows.
* [Wrk] 68k plugins used in PPC apps now display appropriate
error message. Fix still in progress.
