FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PUPPETTIME ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR DIALOG OVERDUBBING, NEW CAST
3D storytelling company makes 3D animation as easy as "point, click,
type, record"

SAN FRANCISCO (June 18th, 1999) - PuppetTime, Inc. announced today
that its new released of PuppetTime Producer, 1.0d26, now supports
dialog overdubbing and includes a new cast of puppets. Users can
download the latest version from the company web site at
(http://www.puppettime.com/).

Tired of those limited number of computer generated voices? Now users
can record their own voices saying the dialog in their 3D movies.
Each line of dialog can have an associated sound recording, and the
recording is tied to the dialog line. Users can move events in the
Timeline tab, and PuppetTime Producer will keep the sound recordings
in sync with the dialog events.

"Everyone who's seen PuppetTime likes it, but wants more voices,"
says Deeje Cooley, Chief Technology Officer, "With dialog
overdubbing, we've provided an infinite set of possibilities for
voices while retaining the automatic lip-sync features found in
computer generated speech."

This release of PuppetTime Producer also includes a new puppet,
called Bibble, that starts life where Eggy finishes off. Bibble has
3D eyes that blink, pupils that move, and eyelids that roll. You can
still tell Bibble puppets to look left, right, up, down, and forward,
but you also click and drag on its pupils to directly set where it
looks. Bibble puppets also have 3D mouths which animate in sync with
the dialog.

"The vision of PuppetTime is beginning to emerge," says Tal Fried,
COO, "Our plug-in system allows us to deliver better and better 3D
characters, and our QuickTime integration becomes stronger with each
release. No other animation system provides such a high level of
integration and automated animation."

PuppetTime is a patent-pending 3D digital actor plug-in architecture
built on top of Apple's QuickTime. PuppetTime Producer allows
Macintosh users to create 3D movies by commanding digital actors
around a virtual stage with point and click ease. By leveraging
QuickTime, PuppetTime can be combined with other media types, like
video, sound, text and music, and can take advantage of new
technologies like realtime streaming media. PuppetTime movies store
only commands and metadata, so they are quite small, and easily
stream-able across today's standard modem connections.
