1: PhotoGIF Lite 1.1 for Macintosh released
2: ImageVice 1.1 for Windows released

There are two items of interest in update news today from BoxTop. I am
keeping the length of this note to a minimum, though. There will be another
separate announcement shortly about the public release of PhotoGIF
Illustrator, which is bigger and longer awaited news.

1: PhotoGIF Lite 1.1 for Macintosh released

PhotoGIF Lite 1.1 is a significant bug fix to the shareware version of
PhotoGIF. It corrects problems present in the 1.0 version reading all files
without comments, and is a free update.

If you're using PhotoGIF Lite, this is a definite download you need to
make. If you aren't using PhotoGIF Lite, kick yourself. You should be.
Download it. PhotoGIF Lite gives you a lot more punch for your Web graphics
production in Photoshop and it's shareware. You can use it even if you
can't justify purchasing it. No guilt from us. ;)

2: ImageVice 1.1 for Windows released

The Windows version of ImageVice now has a fully functional and
non-expiring demo that will work with *any* image, it's shareware now for
all practical purposes and in line with the Macintosh one in that respect
now.

There are no bug fixes or new features in 1.1, which only makes the demo
fully functional. If you have already purchased 1.0, there's no real reason
to download the 1.1 update. If you haven't tried it grab this version and
give it a run for the money. It can help shrink your GIF, PNG, PICT, and
BMP files by a mile and works with most plug-in host applications, not just
Photoshop.
