FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dearborn, MI -- April 9, 1999 -- MacHack, though already a rich
experience for its hack contest and networking opportunities,
features a wealth of technical sessions to enrich, educate and
entertain developers. MacHack 1999, perhaps moreso than previous
years, will feature a wealth of technical sessions directed at
developers at all levels of technical expertise.

The list of sessions to be featured at this year's conference is now
available for perusal at the conference web site. Industry notables
are in great abundance this year, as are an exciting group of session
tracks. Tracks include:

-Appliances (Palm OS)
-Business/Marketing
-Development Tools
-Getting Started
-Java
-Unix/Linux/BSD/MacOS X Server
-Techniques
-Youth Programmer Topics

More details of course, are available online at
(http://www.machack.com/), click on 'Sessions' in the menu bar.

"I'm delighted," said Mike Bentley, Sessions Coordinator. "It's been
a lot of work, but clearly the rich content is the payoff. With
theses sessions every developer can find something new that they can
learn."

To register for the conference, simply go to the conference web site
(http://www.machack.com) and register either via the secure online
form or via the snail mail form. Those who register by April 15 are
entered to win a Palm III Connected Organizer, full details are at
the conference website. Also, attendees that register before the
April 15 deadline will get $50 off the regular registration rate.

MacHack, in its fourteenth year, remains centered around cutting edge
software development. Each year the conference brings together
well-known names in the software business, as well as many students
and upstarts whose names we'll know soon enough, and fosters
interaction between all of the attendees. MacHack's uniqueness
derives from the informal feel and the LIVE coding that occurs
around-the-clock during the conference.

MacHack 1999 will take place June 23-26 in Dearborn, Michigan.
