NEW YORK, NY - October 13, 1997 - In a move to provide the best Web

incorporated into the newly-introduced Mac OS 8.

default set of bookmarks to some of the best web sites on the Internet,
such as the MacDirectory web site, because of the high quality content it
provides to Mac OS users."

With more than 1 million copies of Mac OS 8 sold to date, MacDirectory has
substantially increased its market share, traffic, and brand awareness.
According to Jay Arcos, MacDirectory Online Director, "Apple has attracted
