[MD1] IQTVRA launches Sacred Worlds

IQTVRA launches Sacred Worlds!

Sacred Worlds is here...to inspire, to excite, and to offer a place for you
to show what you can do with QuickTime 3.0! It is the creation of the
International QuickTimeVR Association, and is meant to be a showcase for VR
artists (IQTVRA members and non-members alike) in which they can show off
new techniques, new content, or just create.

Submissions have alredy begun! You can find out more at the Sacred Worlds
Web site -

Submissions will be accepted until November 1st. Visit the Sacred Worlds
web site anytime for guidelines, technical info & support, inspiration,
examples, and to register!

The showcase web site for Sacred Worlds will officially launch on November
15th, with a CD version of the web site to be offered in December.

This CD will be available at MacWorld in January of 1999 as well! We have
support from many "Partners" in the industry, and their names will be
popping up on the web site soon. Email updates will be sent out every week
to keep all participants up-to-date on Sacred Worlds issues.

What is Sacred Worlds?

A Sacred World is like a dream, a concept, a belief. How do you capture
such a phantom? You must wait until it captures you. Find what makes you
stop in the middle of the day or late at night...listen, and look. And that
is what you share, what you see when you're sheltered from all the other
worlds. Inside that sanctuary you'll find your Sacred World.

Technology moves so fast. Some of us move with it, learn, create and move
again, in different directions. Sacred Worlds is a place to come back
together, to see where we've all gone, an artists showcase, a techno
showcase. What ever you've been creating, share it in Sacred Worlds.

This thing called QuickTime 3.0 does so much. Sacred Worlds is a place to
stretch the capabilities a bit, and ourselves. The IQTVRA membership
represents the best and brightest of the QTVR community. And that community
has been emailing, and testing, listing, and posting, experimenting,
selling, and evangelizing...and now it's time to show everyone why we do
it, and what it's all meant.

Our Sacred World will be as real as YOU can make it! There are already have
over 30 registered submissions. But do we have yours? Come on by the Web
site, look around, get on our announcement list, and then register to share
your Sacred Worlds with the rest of us!

If you have any further questions visit our web site at...
