GENE CODES CORPORATION, a premier developer of software for sequencing DNA,
is seeking software engineers for advanced software product development in
bioinformatics.

Gene Codes Corp. develops and markets scientist-centered software for
molecular biologists. Our lead product SEQUENCHER has become the software
standard at major sequencing facilities around the world. We seek
self-motivated, highly skilled team players who will have the opportunity
to contribute to strategic engineering projects with state-of-the-art
development technologies.

Macintosh Software Engineer: Candidates will have proven experience
implementing commercial software using C and C++ with CodeWarrior on the
Macintosh. College degree required. Preference will be given for degrees in
computer science or computer engineering. Cross-platform development
experience, networking experience or laboratory science experience are a
definite plus.

Software Engineer: Candidates will have proven experience implementing
commercial software using C and C++. College degree required. Preference
will be given to candidates with any of the following: experience
implementing algorithms in ANSI C and C++; cross-platform development
experience; networking experience or laboratory science experience.
Macintosh training will be provided as required.

GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND A TEAM-ORIENTED APPROACH
TO SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ARE ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS.
