MarsEdit 2

MarsEdit 2 Released With Flickr Support, Redesigned User Interface
Somerville, MA. September 4, 2007.

Red Sweater Software announced today the release and immediate availability
of MarsEdit 2, a major upgrade to the popular weblog publishing software
for Mac OS X. MarsEdit 2 features a redesigned user interface, brand-new
Flickr photo integration, and powerful new post-editing macros.

"MarsEdit is indispensable for me," said Guy Kawasaki, co-founder of
Truemors.com and noted Mac evangelist. "Every blog entry in 'How to Change
the World' is written with it, and I use it to manage Truemors. This is a
terrific update to an already terrific product."

Bloggers appreciate MarsEdit's ability to manage one or more weblogs from
the comfort of the Mac desktop. MarsEdit 2 expands on that functionality by
adding features without complicating the interface.

"I am extremely pleased with how MarsEdit 2 has turned out," said Daniel
Jalkut, founder of Red Sweater Software. "The familiar Mac interface makes
weblog management fast and simple, which has always been the primary goal.
With new support for adding categories and editing URL slugs, my customers
will rarely need to open a web browser to edit posts."

"MarsEdit 2 provides quick access to your Flickr stream, and makes adding
photos to your blog as easy as a drag-and-drop," said Fraser Speirs,
developer of the popular FlickrExport iPhoto plugin. "For any blogger who
uses Flickr, MarsEdit 2 is clearly the blog client of choice."
