MacWireless Releases OS 10.2 Drivers

MACWIRELESS RELEASES OS 10.2 DRIVERS BETA 5 FOR THEIR 802.11b PC CARD!

BERKELEY, CA. April, 2003: MacWireless announces the release of OS 10.2
beta 5 software for their 100-milliwatt 802.11b PC Card. This latest
release adds the following features and functionalities:

- 'MacWireless 802.11b PC Card' System Preference:
- added signal stregth bar
- added error statistics
- status or statistics tabs are now updated every 0.5 seconds
instead of previous every 1 second
- Encryption settings are now automatically updated based on the
selected AP
- file attributes in the package overwrites those on disk

The MacWireless 802.11b PC Card has substantially better range than AirPort
cards in PowerBook Titanium, with no disassembly required.

MacWireless offers a full product line including 802.11b PC Card, PCI, and
USB. Also, Bluetooth, POE* (Power Over Ethernet) and wireless accessories.
Macwireless products cover virtually all Macintosh models new or old. If
you have an older PowerBook 190, 5300, 2400 or the newest Titanium, a
desktop PCI system, or a machine with a USB port such as an iMac,
MacWireless offers you a wireless network connection. Whats more, all of

products on their PCs as well.

*MacWireless POE allows mounting your AirPort base station up to 250 feet
from an electrical outlet.
