MachineHead is a player like no other.

MachineHead makes it easy for musicians, djs and casual listeners alike to
manipulate and mash up their media files, to loop over sections of a track,
to delicately alter pitch, and to precisely slow down or speed up playback.
MachineHead includes a wide range of built-in effects, and if that's not
enough, you can add more from a diverse selection of industry standard
Audio Units.

MachineHead works with iTunes, instantly giving you access to all your
media files. MachineHead uses an advanced hybrid playback engine, built on
top of Apple's QuickTime and Core Audio technologies, opening the door to
complete control over your media files.

MachineHead features an advanced Quartz Visualizer module for viewing and
tweaking industry standard Quartz Composer .qtz visualisations. Now you
have the perfect player for audio-active compositions.

What's new in this version:

NEW Fx Chain: Add unlimited numbers of AU Effects, save & restore unlimited
numbers of such Fx 'patches'. Fx Patches retain the entire state of the
FxChain, including individual AU settings & states. AU Music Effects are
now also listed.

NEW FLV Playback (Requires free Perian Quicktime component -
(http://perian.org/)http://perian.org/)

NEW Bonjour Audio sharing allows you to use MachineHead as an audio
source-or-target for other apps like GarageBand, Logic, FInal Cut:
- send MachineHead audio to other Audio apps via AUNetSend
- play audio from other Audio apps in MachineHead via AUNetReceive

New 'Global' mode for effects allows effect settings to be either
customised per track, or otherwise maintained in a global state from track
to track.
