MacGPS Pro 8.0 supports new interface, photo-linking, and ECW maps
MacGPS Pro 8.0 is the latest version of the Mac program for communicating
with Garmin and Magellan GPS receivers. It allows users to import
background maps from a wide variety of sources and shows the user's current
location and velocity. It allows two-way transfers of Waypoints, Routes and
Tracks between the GPS receiver and the Mac.
This update introduces a new interface with an iTunes-like main window that
enables the user to custom-utilize GPS data in a sortable, re-sizeable and
movable columnar format. New features include support for ECW maps and
linking waypoints to digital photos. MacGPS Pro requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or
later (for Garmin USB connection, Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later) and works with
Leopard. Priced at US$59.99 for download.
