M Cubed Software has updated Minim
(ttp://www.mcubedsw.com/software/minim) a Mac OS X app that lets
musicians and songwriters organize and share their compositions, to
version 2.0. The new version is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 ("Snow
Leopard").
Minim tracks your songs by letting you add metadata and lyrics; audio
and multimedia files associated with the song; and collaborators for
multiple-author pieces, with iChat integration. It also allows you to
create albums, group your songs with the appropriate album, and add
cover artwork. When you're finished, a single click takes you to
iCompositions.com, a community for independent, Mac-based musicians,
where you can upload your creations.
Minim costs US$38 and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher. A
demo is available for download that limits you to adding 10 songs, 10
podcasts and two shows.
