Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5 free update provides numerous new features and
enhancements

Bellevue, WA--April 3, 2000--Blue World Communications, Inc.--pioneers of
the Web Data Engine--today announced the immediate availability of Lasso
Web Data Engine 3.6.5, a free update to Lasso 3.x providing support for
Java 2 on Windows, vastly expanded Date support, new tags for Images,
Validation, and Email along with numerous enhancements.

Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5 New and Enhanced Features

Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5 includes the following new features:

* Java 2 Support on Windows-Provides enhanced reliability using Java on Windows

* Expanded Date Support-Supports years between 100 and 9999

* New Image Tag-Easily specifies data-driven images

* Validation-Validates email addresses and URLs

* Email MIME Type-Specifies MIME type for email

Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5 also includes enhancements to the following
tags and functions: Post Inline, String, Variable, File, and Date tags,
Lasso Java Application Interface (LJAPI), ODBC data source module
administration and HTTP requests.

Pricing and Availability

Electronic download versions of Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5 are immediately
available for new purchases via authorized resellers and the Blue World
Store (http://store.blueworld.com/) from $599 to $1999 depending upon
edition and configuration. Boxed versions will be available later this
month. Current registered customers of Lasso 3.x can upgrade free of charge
to the electronic download version of Lasso Web Data Engine 3.6.5. No new
serial number is required. Additional upgrade options are listed on the
Blue World Store. A free 30-day evaluation version of Lasso Web Data Engine
3.6.5 is available via the Blue World download Web page at
http://www.blueworld.com/download/.
