Developer 8, a fully robust edition available to developers at a low price.
Lasso 8 represents the next generation of building data-driven Web sites,
supporting multiple databases simultaneously and easing the sequential
migration of databases.

The Developer Edition is specifically tailored to meet the needs of
advanced Web developers by easily installing on any platform and by
allowing development and testing on one machine, as well as remote testing
from another machine.

will still require a server running Lasso Professional Server 8 for
deployment.
