Las Vegas SuperMeet to be video streamed over the Internet

The Final Cut Pro User Group Network says the Ninth Annual Las Vegas SuperMeet (http://www.supermeet.com, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 13, in the Amazon Ballroom at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, will be live video streamed (http://www.supermeet.com/live) over the Internet by Boinx Software and Zaplive.tv.

Registration will be required to view the free live video stream which will begin at 6:30 pm.. This SuperMeet will have Adobe, Apple and Avid on one stage together. The live video stream will begin at 6:30 pm (Pacific) and will be produced using BoinxTV from Boinx Software, a live production tool for creating Live to Disk, Live to Internet and Live to Stage video.

For those that are going to the 2010 Nab Show and wish to attend the SuperMeet in person, tickets are still available online for $15 each, (plus a $1.36 ticket fee) and $10 for students with a valid ID -- or $20 at the door.

Scheduled to appear on stage (subject to change) will be user-driven presentations and special announcements from Apple, Avid, Adobe, Canon, Blackmagic Design and ARRI. In addition there will be a demo of "Affordable 3D" and "iPad for Digital Filmmakers."

Rounding out the evening will be the "World Famous Raffle" with currently $85,000 worth of prizes to be handed out to winners, including a Canon EOS 7D DSLR camera and related HD-DSLR gear, Apple iPad, NLE software and hardware, plug-ins and more.

Doors will open at 4 pm with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring 35 software and hardware developers including Adobe, Blackmagic Design, Canon, ARRI, Avid, Automatic Duck, Data Robotics, Future Media Concepts, Matrox, Noise Industries, Nvidia, Panasonic, Vimeo and others.
