JOY 2.2 REPLACES WEBSCRIPT!

Vienna, January 13, 2000. Joy 2.2 has been released for Mac OS X / Mac OS X
Server, Windows and OPENSTEP. Joy can now be used as a drop-in replacement
for WebScript and contains many new features that make the development of
WebObjects and EOF applications easier than ever before.

Use of the software is free for evaluation purposes. A free unlock code can
be ordered by email, with the response being sent by our automated servers
in minutes. Users are welcome to take as long as they need to evaluate the

Backwards compatiblity

Joy 2.2 is fully compatible with all earlier versions of Joy. Even though
Tcl is no longer the language of choice for implementing new functionality,
AAA+ Software is committed to protecting their customers' investment into
their technology. Tcl is continuing to be supported and enhanced; for
example access to Java objects from Tcl was recently added.

About Joy

When Joy was first introduced, it won a Best Tool for New Technologies
