InterView 2.0 Media Capture Upgrade

Atlanta, GA - XLR8, the award-winning leader in Macintosh performance and
peripherals, is now shipping its new InterView 2.0 Media Capture Software
upgrade for Mac USB. InterView 2.0's breakthrough advancement in media
capture technology delivers full compatibility with all major video editing
software packages, broader Internet capabilities (including QuickTime
streaming and webcasting), as well as a completely new application-XLR8
TheaterTM. XLR8 Theater allows for full screen viewing from a DVD player,
satellite tuner or VCR-turning any Mac into a stand alone entertainment
system.

"InterView 2.0 improves on all the core features that made it's
predecessor, InterView 1.0, so successful," said Jack Kolk, Vice President
and General Manager of XLR8, "while adding great new features like support
for Internet broadcasting-potentially the next killer application for the
Internet. InterView 1.0's current success has demonstrated that the demand
for powerful yet simple video capture is a growing market, especially at
Interview's low price point."

InterView 1.0, first introduced in May of 1999, received numerous awards,
including "Product of the Year" by MacHome Journal as well as MacToday's
Editor's Choice award for "Best Budget Video Capture." Owners of InterView
1.0 may take full advantage of 2.0's new enhanced features via a free
software download from the XLR8 website.

InterView Media Capture Software and Cabling allow users to import analog
video and audio into any USB-equipped Macintosh computer. It supports
real-time video at resolutions up to 320x240, snapshots at resolutions up
to 640x480 and supports both NTSC and PAL video formats. InterView 2.0 is
the perfect add-on for any Mac system, including the new iMac DV. Owners
of iMac DV systems that do not have a FireWire equipped camcorder can
import video via the iMac's USB port.

InterView 2.0, like its predecessor, includes Apple QuickTime 4.0 and is
bundled with Strata VideoShop 4.5 (DV) video editing software package and
Strata TuneBuilderTM. InterView 2.0 also offers additional compatibility
with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and many other standard video editing
packages. InterView 2.0 includes a 30-day trial version of Sorenson
BroadcasterTM. Sorenson Broadcaster is the first live audio and video
broadcasting tool created for use with QuickTime 4.0. Designed for the
Macintosh platform, this versatile, software-only tool compresses video
and/or audio and configures it for live streaming on a variety of
networks-from local or wide-area networks to the Internet. These broadcasts
can then be played on any Macintosh or Windows-based computer using
QuickTime 4.0.

InterView 2.0 is available through a variety of Mac resellers ($99 MSRP).
InterView 2.0 is also available bundled with XLR8's DualPortTM USB PCI
Adapter, which enables pre-USB machines to take advantage of USB
connectivity ($129 MSRP). For more information about InterView and other
award-winning XLR8 products, visit XLR8's website at www.xlr8.com.
