Interarchy 4.1 for Mac OS X, 9 & 8

Interarchy 4.1 for Mac OS X, 9 & 8

Perth, Western Australia - 27 Apr 2000 - It was announced today on
interarchy.com that Interarchy 4.1, the Mac OS X version of Anarchie, has
been completed and is ready to download.

Interarchy 4.1 is a free upgrade from 4.0 and supports Mac OS X, Mac OS 9
and Mac OS 8.

Q. What is Interarchy?

Interarchy 4.1 is a powerful and flexible Internet interface for Mac OS. It
can transfer files via FTP and HTTP, search the Internet to find the files
you want, provide a wealth of information about remote servers as well as
your local Internet connection and Internet applications, help manage
remote servers, let you remotely control and test your Macintosh across the
Internet.

With this 4.1 release we have focused on making the transition to Apple's
new operating system, Mac OS X.

Q. How does Interarchy compare to other software that offers similar
functionality?

SPEED - Interarchy 4.1 provides the fastest FTP/HTTP file transfer speeds
of any Macintosh application. Interarchy 4.1's FTP/HTTP engine was hand
crafted, working closely with Apple to get the most out of Open Transport,
and operates at "interrupt time" which provides preemptive multitasking
qualities.

RELIABILITY - Utilizing the Interarchy network of over 3,000 beta testers,
Interarchy 4.1 has been put through months of testing to make sure it
complies with Peter N Lewis' extremely high standards of software quality.

LIGHT - The Interarchy 4.1 application despite all it's power is only 1.5MB
in size and has a minimum memory footprint of less than 2MB. This is due to
the proprietary Interarchy development framework which has been carefully
developed specifically for Mac OS & TCP/IP since 1990.

SCRIPTABLE - As with all Mac software engineered by Peter N Lewis,
Interarchy 4.1 is not only completely AppleScriptable and recordable, it
operates internally on AppleScript so it's scriptability is as reliable as
everything else in the application.

POPULARITY - Interarchy's predecessor Anarchie has won world-wide acclaim
and numerous awards, most notable of which was nomination as a MacWorld
Eddy finalist for the last two years running. Interarchy has had over 600
thousand users in it's history, making it one of the most popular Mac
applications in it's class.

Q. What Apple technologies does Interarchy leverage?

Interarchy makes extensive use of Apple's Open Transport and AppleScript
technologies. It also supports the Appearance Manager, Drag and Drop
Manager, Internet Config, Navigation Manager, Sherlock and Keychain
systems. Interarchy would not be the product it is today without the
unbelievable support the engineering team receive from both Apple Computer
Inc and Metrowerks.

Q. Which people and entities are responsible for Interarchy 4.1?

Interarchy is engineered by Peter N Lewis and Matthew Drayton of Stairways
Software Pty Ltd. Interarchy and Interarchy.com are produced by Andrew
Tomazos and distributed through Kagi.

Interarchy is trademark and copyright Peter N Lewis, Andrew Tomazos and
Stairways Software Pty Ltd.
