New MacTech Series: Optimizing and Peak Performance on Intel-based Macs

May 31, 2006 -- WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA -- MacTech today announced a new
exclusive article series to specifically address the needs of developers
looking to optimize their applications take advantage of Intel(r)'s
Core(tm) Duo processor-based Macs. The series will debut in the July 2006
issue of MacTech.

MacTech has a long history of columns that integrate the vast knowledge of
top engineers from top companies, including the Metrowerks: From the
Factory Floor, and Apple's Inside Info, and most recently a new column with
Microsoft entitled "Mac in the Enterprise."

MacTech's team is working with Intel to provide real world, how-to
information and tips about optimizing applications for Intel
processor-based Macs. The series will address optimizing applications, peak
performance on each of the execution cores, Vectorization, as well as
threading and advanced optimization.
