Insider Software debuts FontAgent Pro 4 for Windows

Insider Software today announced the premiere of
FontAgent Pro 4 for Windows Vista and XP,
available immediately as a public beta release.
FontAgent Pro 4 is a major update to Insider's
industry-leading font management software for
creative professionals.

The new version brings a number of font management capabilities that include:

° SmartSearch, an advanced search feature that
finds fonts--both locally and on the
Internet--that match concept keywords entered by
users, and displays found fonts in their native
typefaces

° Integrated search, purchase and download of fonts from the Internet

° Auto-activation plug-ins for Adobe CS2 and CS3
that find, match and activate fonts as users open
InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop documents

° Waterfall view that displays fonts in cascading point sizes

° Improved font diagnostics and integrity engine
ensures that fonts are ready to rip and since all
font diagnostics and repair occur before the
fonts can be used, workflow integrity is assured.

° Updated, simpler user interface for easier navigation and use

FontAgent Pro for Windows version 4 is available
now as a free public beta. Users can download the
public beta immediately from the Insider Software
web site at:
http://www.insidersoftware.com/downloads/beta/FAP4.0B1.zip.

Upon its commercial release, the software will
retail for $99.95 with volume discounts available
from Insider Software and resellers worldwide,
including SHI, PC Connection, PC Mall and Zones.
Users who purchased FontAgent Pro 3 for Windows
on or after 15 June 2008 will be entitled to a
free upgrade to version 4.

FontAgent Pro 4 for Windows requires Windows
Vista or XP running on a PC with 20 MB of
available disk space. Additional disk space is
required for installing fonts.
