iFixit Launches iPhone Parts Store

iFixit Launches iPhone Parts Store

ATASCADERO, California-- August 2, 2007. iFixit, the Mac + iPod
do-it-yourself company, has announced its entrance into the iPhone industry
with a complete iPhone repair guide and iPhone parts store.

iFixit now sells every part needed to repair your iPhone including
batteries, displays, case components, logic boards, and more. Our full line
of iPhone parts is available and in-stock today at:
www.iFixit.com/iPhone-Parts

The iPhone Fixit Guide features clear pictures and detailed instructions
for replacing any part in the iPhone. Installation instructions are
tailored to allow the removal and replacement of any component, including
the rear panel, headphone jack, battery, logic board, and display assembly.
The Guide is available for free at: www.iFixit.com/Guide/iPhone

iFixit also shows you how to secure your iPhone by removing the internal
camera. Many secure facilities do not allow cameraphones, leaving users
without their cell phone at work. "We've had many requests from people
wanting to take their iPhones into secure work environments. By removing
your camera, your iPhone is not a threat to secure buildings," said Kyle
Wiens, iFixit's CEO. You can learn how to secure your iPhone at:

iFixit is the Mac+iPod do-it-yourself company. iFixit launched in 2003 and
instantly became the leader in the Mac laptop part industry. iFixit
introduced iPod parts in 2006, and added iPhone parts in 2007. iFixit is
dedicated to helping people everywhere keep their Macs, iPods, and iPhones
running longer. For more information, visit: www.iFixit.com or call
