The Iconfactory Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Launch of New Web Sites

August 2nd, 2006 - The Iconfactory, icon design leader in the
software and user interface design industries, celebrates its 10th
anniversary with the launch of all-new versions of Iconfactory.com
and Stockicons.com. Over two years in design and development, the new
sites have been rebuilt from the ground up using Ruby on Rails and
are now hosted on Apple's xServe platform. These sites boast many new
features and a wealth of new or revised content. Users will find a
pleasing new color scheme and layout, enhanced site navigation,
extensive support items and more including:

* Amora - An all new, expansive CandyBar system replacement set from
artist David Lanham. Unlike any freeware icon collection we've
previously produced, Amora will help make your Mac into a slick,
futuristic landscape full of techno-surprises. An accompanying
Shapeshifter theme can be found at dlanham.com.

* Desktop Pictures - Our sister site, the Deskstop has joined the
Iconfactory so we now offer free, custom desktop pictures as well as
icons. New desktop pictures from artist Mindy Weaver will appeal to
Mac and Windows users alike.

* Dine-O-Matic - A fun and free Dashboard widget for Mac OS X that
helps you decide where to eat out. Enter your favorite eateries and
their associated cuisine styles and then let the food fates decide
where to go!

* Design Services - The new Iconfactory offers an expanded gallery of
icon and UI design work for our corporate clients. This section of
the site also offers information on custom icon creation and the
services offered by the Iconfactory.

The website itself has also undergone both a visual and structural
transformation making it much easier to find what you are looking
for. Notable new features include:

* Fully compliant with W3C standards using CSS 2.0 & XHTML 1.0 * RSS
Feeds for Iconfactory content and industry news links * An extensive
library of content and support items that can be queried using
keywords or similarity

* All 250+ icon sets are now available as Pixadex iContainers and
Windows ICO files

In addition, Stockicons.com also receives the makeover treatment and
builds on its reputation as the number one source for professional,
royalty-free stock icons for designers and developers. The new design
