Nashville, TN - May 28, 2008 - Griffin Technology Inc., creator of all
things iPod and originator of the popular iTrip family of FM transmitters,
today announced the availability of their new iPhone-compatible model:
iTrip AutoPilot with SmartScan.

This latest addition to the iTrip product family allows users to play AND
control iPhone or iPod while charging its battery. iTrip sends the music
wirelessly to a car's FM radio so the user can listen through the car's
stereo speakers. iTrip AutoPilot is one of the first FM transmitters to be
certified iPhone-compatible, allowing users to enjoy their music on the
road without missing calls or sacrificing the functionality of the phone.

iTrip AutoPilot features Griffin's industry-leading SmartScan technology,
making it the easiest-to-use FM transmitter on the market. SmartScan turns
setup into a one-button operation by quickly scanning for the best three
radio frequencies, then saving them automatically as presets for easy
recall.

AutoPilot playback control safely puts a set of controls in easy reach,
right on the power adapter that you plug into your cigarette lighter. The
power adapter features illuminated symbols for Play/Pause and Track
Forward/Backward button controls, and provides tactile feedback in the form
of a "click" that you can feel, so you never have to look away from your
driving.

* Built-in SmartScan does all the setup by scanning the radio dial for the
three best frequencies, and saves them automatically to three programmable
presets for easy recall.

* AutoPilot controls iPod playback from the car dash or cigarette adapter
with the touch of a finger.

* New SmartSound Plus technology delivers clear sound under real-world
conditions.

* High-contrast iTrip display makes it easy to read frequency information.

* Three-stage light ring changes color to indicate the charging status of
your iPod.

* RDS technology shows song information on RDS-enabled car radio displays
