FORGOTIT? 1.3 RELEASED

New release 1.3 of the popular password management program ForgotIt? now
available for OS X

BERLIN, GERMANY - July 26th, 2001 - Shareware author Erich H Rast is
pleased to announce version 1.3 of his password management tool ForgotIt?
for the Macintosh. The tool is an easy-to-use multi-document application
for managing passwords and Internet addresses. It uses strong Blowfish or
Rijndael (AES) encryption and SHA1 hashing to protect password lists and
launches even multiple URLs that belong to a password entry. Version 1.3 is
now available as an OS X version as well. Features of ForgotIt? are:

- alphabetize password lists
- export password lists as Base64 encoded text files
- friendly user-interface
- full balloon help in Classic version, help tags on OS X
- online documentation (also available for download)
- drag&drop support

New features in version 1.3 are:

- Mac OS X version available (Classic is further being supported)
- drag & drop re-ordering of password lists
- built-in compression of password lists for higher security
- option to hide passwords in the main view for higher security
- improved support for external encryption schemes (free plugins included)
- passwords can now be pasted to the clipoard directly from the main view
- many bugfixes and some cosmetic enhancements

ForgotIt? 1.3 is available for download as a self-extracting archive
in Macbinary format or as a self-mounting, Macbinary encoded disk
