Five Speed Software Releases iGet 1.1
Enhanced tool provides secure, resumable Mac file transfers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RENO, Nevada -- September 7, 2004 -- Five Speed Software, Inc. today
announced the immediate availability of iGet 1.1, an update to the
company's innovative file transfer software for the Mac. The update is free
for all users.

"iGet 1.1 delivers some of the features that users have requested the
most," said CEO Chris Frey. "We've gotten some terrific feedback from our
customers, and that is refelected in this first maintenance update."

iGet 1.1 features an enhanced connection dialog, makes it more convenient
to use iGet on public Macs, and allows path-based navigation, among other
improvements. The update also addresses several minor issues discovered
after the iGet 1.0 release.

A complete list of new features and fixes in the new version is available
on the company's web site, at:

About iGet
Released in 2004, iGet is a modern replacement for older file transfer
tools like FTP, SFTP, and client-server solutions. It provides a
network-oriented file transfer tool that fully supports Mac-specific file
attributes--including resource forks, HFS metadata, packages, aliases, and
Unicode file names--which standard protocols like FTP cannot handle.

Using a familiar Mac interface, iGet allows users to quickly transfer files
from one Mac to another. With the "zero-setup" feature, the user can
connect to any Mac OS X 10.3 machine without having to install special
software (not even iGet) on the remote Mac.

Other features include resumable file transfers, strong encryption,
Keychain and Rendezvous support, complete drag and drop support, and more.

Pricing and Availability
iGet 1.1 is available today, from the Five Speed Software web site. The
single-copy price is US $24.95.

Educational discounts and site license pricing are also available.
