Extensive support for DJ hardware controllers in new release of DJ-1800

DJs who like to use hardware controllers during their set will be able to
make the most of their kit with the new release of DJ-1800.

Version 2.2 of the professional DJ software now includes support for
popular controllers, including the Hercules DJ Console, the Kontrol-DJ and
any other MIDI controller. The new version also features a clearer
interface, which is even more responsive when new tunes are loaded.

Dave Addey, CEO of DJ-1800 said: "We know how popular controllers are with
our DJs and we wanted to make their professional lives even easier.

"Now when you are out at a gig, you can still play all your favourite music
from your computer with DJ-1800, but you can control it with real buttons,
dials and faders."

DJ-1800 version 2.2 also includes the following new features:

* New song position bar to enable you to jump to any point in a song
* BPM values are loaded from iTunes to read on screen
* Other bug fixes and improvements

A fully-featured demo of DJ-1800 is available to download from
www.dj1800.com. Users who have previously bought DJ-1800 can upgrade to
version 2.2 of the software for free.
