EQO Communications Enables Apple OS X Users to Take Skype Mobile

Vancouver, BC, Canada, April 13, 2006 -- In response to high customer
demand, EQO Communications, a leading developer of presence-enabled calling
and instant messaging solutions and services, today announced immediate
availability of EQO Mobile for Skype to users of the Apple OS X operating
system. With this announcement, users of Apple's Macintosh systems are now
able to extend Skype VoIP calling and messaging to their mobile phones.

EQO Mobile for Skype consists of EQO Mobile Internet Phone Service for
Skype, launched at the 2006 DEMO technology conference in Phoenix, AZ and
EQO Mobile Instant Messaging for Skype, introduced at Spring VON 2006 in
San Jose, CA.

EQO Mobile lets users make and receive Skype calls, exchange Instant
Messages, and view presence information about their buddies over the Skype
network from more than 45 different phone handset models from vendors
including Nokia, Motorola, Palm, and Sony-Ericsson. Most recently, EQO
announced support for Palm TREO 650 and Motorola ROKR, SLVR, and RAZR
handsets.

Using a combination of a phone-resident J2ME client and a presence-enabled
Voice-over-IP (VoIP) signaling network, the EQO Mobile Internet Phone
Service is capable of bridging online identity, VoIP calling, and Instant
Messaging services to more than 200 million J2ME-capable mobile phone
handsets already in use worldwide. With more than 74 million registered
users, Skype is the dominant player in Internet calling and Instant
Messaging communications services worldwide.

EQO Mobile is available for free to consumers as a Beta product via the EQO
