Entourage Email Archiver X update adds Entourage 2008 Web

Softhing has updated Entourage Email Archiver X
(http://www.softhing.com/eeax.html), an utility for archiving emails
and attachments you have received or sent using Microsoft Entourage
in Mac OS X, to version 4.2.0. The update is compatible with the new
Entourage 2008 Web Services Editions.

EEAX has been successfully tested with the latest 10.5.8 and Office
12.2.1 update. It also now includes the latest version of the
freeware SpotInside to browse and search the archives including the
real time preview of search results using the Apple Spotlight
technology.

EEAX 4.2.0 works on Mac OS X 10.5.x ("Leopard") with Microsoft
Entourage 2008. EEAX 3.x is available for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5
users using Entourage 2004.

EEAX can archive your emails in six different ways with further
sub-options. One of the features of EEAX is to archive emails as
native Entourage file format. The files with .eml extensions give you
the possibility to restore one email or group of emails simply drop
them back to Entourage at any time. This will ensure to restore the
email archived even with the future versions of Office, according to
the folks at Softhing.

Archived emails and attachments are automatically indexed by Mac OS X
10.4 ("Tiger"), so you can search files with Spotlight. Plus, a free
FileMaker Pro template is included in the EEAX package. This template
can manage both of your text and attachments emails in a custom
database.

Entourage Email Archive X costs US$30, but version 4.2.0 is a free
update for registered users of version 4.x.
