Easy Shift, Hours Or Task Schedules With Excel

Easy Shift, Hours Or Task Schedules With Excel

EASY SHIFT, HOURS OR TASK SCHEDULES WITH EXCEL

November 7, 2005 -- Shift Schedules has just released several new Excel
spreadsheets for scheduling your people to daily hours, shifts or tasks.
The spreadsheets are designed for the "Excel Novice" and are very easy to
use. The "Shifts" spreadsheets can schedule your employees to daily shifts
while the "Hours" spreadsheets allow you to assign daily hours to your
people and the "Tasks" spreadsheets help you assign your daily task
requirements to your employees. They all can schedule 3 groups of employees
such as Manager, Senior Staff and Junior Staff while keeping track of
vacations and other absences. You can specify target hours or number of
tasks for each person and as you assign the shifts or hours or tasks, the
weekly total is updated to keep you informed of the scheduling status of
each employee. The spreadsheets create schedule outputs in several formats
including a file that can be used with your Outlook Calendar or imported
into your PDA or Smart Phone so your schedule will always be available for
handy reference.

With the "Shifts" spreadsheets you simply define your daily shift coverage
needs for each group and then assign the shifts to your people via
drop-down menus of shift names. As each shift is assigned, it is removed
from the menu and when the menu is empty all shifts have been assigned for
the day. The "Hours" spreadsheets let you assign hours to your people by
simply putting the shift length in the shift start hour slot. You can
assign up to 3 groups of hours to each person each day giving you a great
deal of flexibility in shaping your daily coverage. Bar graphs report your
scheduling status each hour of the day to graphically alert you when you
are over or under your target coverage. The "Tasks" spreadsheets, like the
"Shifts" spreadsheets allow you to simply define your daily task needs for
each group and then assign the tasks to your people via drop-down menus of
task names. As each task is assigned, it is removed from the menu and when
the menu is empty all tasks have been assigned for the day.

The spreadsheets are available in sizes to schedule 25, 50 and 100 people
and can be downloaded from the Shift Schedules website at
(http://www.shiftschedules.com/) and used freely for evaluation. The
spreadsheets are priced between $149.00 and $399.00 and come with a 30 day
money back guarantee.
