Dejal announces Simon 2.0 Beta

A Mac OS X application to monitor sites for changes or failures.

PORTLAND, Oregon -- July 8, 2004 -- Dejal Systems today announced the
immediate availability of Dejal Simon 2.0b1, the essential site
monitoring tool for Mac OS X. It checks sites for changes or failures,
and notifies you via e-mail, sound, speech, or other means. You can use
it to track updated sites, and to alert you when an important site goes
down or recovers. Developed in Cocoa, it is a native Mac OS X
application with an intuitive and attractive Aqua interface.

This is a beta release of a major upgrade to Simon. Along with many
usability improvements, it delivers a much-requested new feature set: a
new Port service, that enables you to engage in a telnet-like
conversation with any server, e.g. POP, SMTP, SSH, and more. See the
release notes for more information.

Pricing & Availability:

Simon is immediately available through Dejal's online store
(www.dejal.com/orders/). Three license levels are available: "Basic",
allowing up to 3 tests, priced at $29.95 (US); "Standard", allowing up
to 10 tests, at $59.95 (US); and "Enterprise", allowing an unlimited
number of tests, priced at $195. This beta release has the same
licensing requirements as previous versions. Upgrade pricing is to be
determined, but it will be a free upgrade for purchasers from July 1,
2004.

A fully-featured trial is available as a free download from
www.dejal.com/simon/.

Simon 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
