Convert Carbon 2.0 Public Beta b4 Offers Expanded Functionality, Now Carbonized

SAN JOSE, Calif., 21 Jan 2002 - Graphic arts software developer and
consulting firm Fifth Wave announced today the availability of the latest
version of Convert, version 2.0b4, for Mac OS. In addition to providing
tremendous value for its meager cost, Convert can be experienced prior to
purchase. Payment processing is being handled through Kagi, allowing for
world-wide registration.

Convert is simply the greatest tool available for calculating conversions
on the Macintosh. Temperature, Velocity, Time, Mass, Currency, Bartending -
you name it! Over 40 different conversion categories, offering thousands of
conversion possibilities. Full support of the Mac OS including Drag and
Drop, multiple monitors, foreign localizations, non-modal user interface,
and Mac OS 9/OS X. Over a thousand different conversions possible. Convert
features intelligent localization - that is, Convert displays its menus in
French, U.S. English, German, Italian, and Spanish on-the-fly based on your
installed OS localization. $15 USD license fee required.

Version 2.0 adds a number of improvements, including delivery as a
Carbonized application, improved user interface, new conversion categories,
and new conversion factors, in addition to numerous precision enhancements.
Of course, Convert supports European localization, including the Euro

We recommend that all users of Convert upgrade to this version. Convert
version 2.0 will be a free upgrade to all who paid their license fee AFTER
01 Jan 01. New customers and those licensees who paid prior to 01 Jan 01
can purchase a license to Convert for $15 USD.
