Comm-Unity releases FTPit Pro 2.0.6 for FileMaker

Comm-Unity Networking Systems has released FTPit Pro 2.0.6 for FileMaker Pro. The new version brings the plug-in to full compatibility with the recently announced FileMaker Pro 11.

It also has several bug fixes improving the overall stability of the plug-in as well as fixes for some networking issues. FTPit Pro is available immediately at http://ftpitpro.cnsplug-ins.com/ for both Mac OS X and Windows platforms.

With this plug-in you can transfer files, text, and entire directories to and from your computer using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) all from within FileMaker Pro. Version 2.0.4, which is available immediately for both Mac OS X and Windows, enhances a few functions and includes bug fixes.

A single-user license for the client version of FTPit Pro is US$65. To use the Server Edition of FTPit Pro, you'll need to purchase at least a 10-User License for $319. There are several other price points on the purchase page for the plug-in.

If you own an existing license of Classic FTPit, you can upgrade for free or for 25-50 percent off depending on the original purchase date of your Classic FTPit license. If you purchased Classic FTPit anytime between April 27, 2008, and Oct. 27, 2008, the upgrade is completely free. You will need a new license Key to use FTPit Pro, however, so email Comm-Unity about a new license key. If you purchased an FTPit Pro license during the beta period, the upgrade is completely free. All you need to do is download the latest version and install it. It will import your current registration and settings.
