Latest Version of CodeWarrior(tm) Development Studio Supports the Mac OS X
v10.3 Panther Platform

Austin, TX - November 24, 2003 - The newest CodeWarrior product from
Metrowerks adds support for the Mac OS X v10.3 Panther operating system
with the launch of CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS, Version 9.1.

The studio offers support for the latest release of the Mac OS X operating
system, and provides a broad range of features, which enhance productivity
and shorten development cycles, including:

* the Metrowerks PowerPlant X C++ framework, which allows developers to
write native Mac OS X code using Mac OS X supported features;

* one of the fastest compilers and build systems available for the Mac
platform;

* a visual display feature to allow the user to easily drag-and-drop files
or folders into the package; and

* expanded Objective-C code development within the CodeWarrior tool suite.

"Metrowerks is proud to build on its 10-plus years of support for the Mac
developer community with the launch of CodeWarrior Development Studio for
Mac OS, v9.1," said Greg Hemstreet, product marketing director, Standard
Products & Core Technologies, Metrowerks. "CodeWarrior remains the
preferred development environment of professional Macintosh application
developers."

CodeWarrior Development Studio for Mac OS, v9.1 includes the ability to
target Mac OS X, Classic Mac OS and Windows OS development within a single
project to create applications with cross platform capabilities. The suite
supports the most common development languages including C, C++ and
Objective-C, allowing developers to work in Apple Cocoa frameworks within
the CodeWarrior environment.

The product also includes PowerPlant X, a Macintosh framework for Mach-O
development based on the standard programming language C++. The PowerPlant
X framework for Mac OS X development supports carbon events, HIViews and
Unicode, and allows developers to write native Mac OS X code using Mac OS X
supported features. Also included in the studio is the popular PowerPlant
framework for Classic OS and Mac OS X PEF development.

The newest CodeWarrior suite operates seamlessly with the Metrowerks
CodeTEST=D4 Software Analysis Tools for Mac OS X -- the only comprehensive
suite of C/C++ software analysis tools available for the Mac OS X platform.
The two products offer a comprehensive set of development solutions for
Macintosh developers.
