BluePhone Personal Tech Experts is a new consumer tech support
service/membership and "At Home Help Desk" that will launch Oct. 1.

The company provides certified solutions engineers who solve everyday
issues including: slow computer, setting up home and wireless
network, spyware/antivirus, new software, operating system/Vista
migration, can't connect to the Internet, printers, iPods, digital
cameras and much more. Issues can be resolved over the phone, or
desktop sharing technology is used to remotely access the member Mac
or PC.

Consumers will also like that BluePhone members are assigned a
Personal Tech Expert who will get to know their hardware/software
configurations as well as previous problems and solutions, so the
focus is on resolving the issue at hand rather than tracking down
system or device information. Calls can be ad hoc or scheduled, and
members can communicate with Experts via email, chat and phone -- any
