BLUE WORLD ANNOUNCES LASSO 6 PRODUCT LINE

Suite of products to increase productivity for Web developers who build
data-driven Web sites.

Bellevue, WA--September 4, 2002--Blue World Communications, Inc.--pioneers
of the Web Data Engine(tm)--today announced the Lasso 6 product line. The
Lasso 6 product line consists of a collection of Web application
development and serving tools designed to provide Web developers maximum
productivity when building and serving data-driven Web sites. The product
line includes Lasso Professional 6 (see today's related announcement),
Lasso Studio 6 and Lasso Developer 6.

"Lasso products allow non-programmers to quickly build data-driven Web
sites and provide advanced Web developers a robust tool set for the
creation of sophisticated Web applications," said Bill Doerrfeld, CEO of
Blue World. "The enhanced productivity offered by Lasso products allows Web
developers to save time and money so they may focus less on technical
challenges and more on creative and business advancements. Lasso products
are just plain easier to use than competitive offerings."

Lasso Professional 6

Lasso Professional 6 is the Lasso product for serving Lasso-based
data-driven Web sites. Lasso Professional 6 includes a comprehensive
graphical administration interface for easy setup and maintenance of
servers. Among other unique features, Lasso Professional 6 provides a
robust built-in security system that is independent of operating systems
and databases. This makes it very easy to develop solutions once which
support multiple operating systems and databases. Other Web application
servers require recoding solutions in order to run with various operating
systems and databases. A detailed listing of features available in Lasso
Professional 6 is available via the Lasso Professional 6 features document
downloadable at (ftp://ftp.blueworld.com/Lasso6/LassoPro6Features.pdf).
Lasso Professional 6 is scheduled for release in September, 2002.

Lasso Studio 6

Lasso Studio 6 is the successor to Lasso Studio 1.x. Lasso Studio
transforms Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe GoLive into robust environments
for building Lasso-based data-driven Web sites. Designed for entry-level to
intermediate Web developers, Lasso Studio provides wizards and tools which
dramatically ease the process of building data-driven Web sites. New
features in version 6 of Lasso Studio include syntax checking and debugging
controls, LDML 3 to LDML 6 converter, builders for inlines and URLs and
live data preview among others. Lasso Studio 6 will include a single-user
version of Lasso Professional 6 for development and testing purposes. Lasso
Studio 6 is scheduled for release in late 2002.

Lasso Developer 6

Lasso Developer 6 will provide Web developers advanced tools for runtime
debugging. Lasso Developer 6 will include a single-user version of Lasso
Professional 6 for development and testing purposes. Lasso Developer 6 is
scheduled for release in late 2002.

Pricing

See the related announcement on Lasso Professional 6 for pricing and

Studio 6 and Lasso Developer 6 will be announced upon the release of these
products later this year.
