Atlanta, GA - October 15, 2002 - The Big Nerd Ranch Offers a $1000 discount
to attendees of both November 2002 training classes. Cocoa I, offered
November 4-8, and Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming, offered November
11-15, will both be all-inclusive five-day classes at the Big Nerd Ranch in
Asheville, NC. Each class is normally priced at $3500, but students signing
up for both classes will pay a total of $6000.

Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming is the Big Nerd Ranch's newest class.
Programmers will learn how to take advantage of Mac OS X's Unix foundation.
Instructors Mark Dalrymple and Aaron Hillegass will team-teach this class,
including topics such as: multi-threading, rendezvous, distributed objects,
network programming, performance tuning, exception handling, and advanced
debugging techniques.

Cocoa I is based on the Addison-Wesley book, Cocoa Programming for Mac OS
X, and is taught by author Aaron Hillegass. Topics added to the course
since book publication include Screen Savers, View Swapping, and OpenGL and
Cocoa.
