Big Nerd Ranch Europe is open for Business

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Big Nerd Ranch Europe is open for Business: first PostgreSQL and Cocoa
Bootcamp scheduled for December 12-16, 2005 and January 16-20, 2006 in Italy

Bonn, Germany - September 27, 2005 - Following a constant demand the Big
Nerd Ranch will be offering their classes in Europe. The Big Nerd Ranch
Europe, operated by Stefanie H=F6fling, is located in Bonn, Germany,

To achieve a similar training experience as the famous bootcamps in
Atlanta, the European classes will also be taught in a retreat environment
far from the distractions inherent in standard corporate training. Our
Italian facility in Frascati, the famous "city of wine" in the "Castelli
Romani" area is located 30 minutes east of the eternal city of Rome.

This winter Big Nerd Ranch Europe is offering the following classes:

The (http://www.bignerdranch.com/classes/postgresql.shtml) PostgreSQL
Bootcamp with Chris Campbell, Dec 12-16, 2005, near Rome, Italy

The (http://bignerdranch.com/classes/cocoa1.shtml) Cocoa Bootcamp with
Aaron Hillegass, Jan 16-20, 2006, near Rome, Italy

PostgreSQL instructor Chris Campbell comes to Italy for the first bootcamp
at the Big Nerd Ranch Europe. The highly successful PostgreSQL 8.1 Bootcamp
is now open for European students. At the ranch in Atlanta this bootcamp is
rapidly becoming one of the most popular of the classes in the Big Nerd
Ranch lineup, routinely selling out all seats. PostgreSQL has
revolutionized the way developers approach database management by providing
an open source solution ideally equipped to handle complex, sophisticated
database management needs. As its popularity grows, companies are
discovering a viable and low-cost alternative to the expensive Oracle and
SQL Server giants.

(http://www.bignerdranch.com/classes/instructors.shtml#ccampbell) Chris
Campbell has an extensive background in database management and PostgreSQL.
He's been teaching the course for two years and continually includes
updates and fine-tuning to the syllabus to create the most effective and
useful lessons for up-and-coming PostgreSQL administrators.

Big Nerd Ranch Europe also offers the chance to learn Core Data in Italy:
Cocoa Bootcamp on Tiger. Core Data represents one of the Tiger's key new
features by simplifying the persistence of data models for the developer,
and features such as redo, undo and support for the document architecture
just work. In addition to Core Data, Cocoa Bootcamp covers the fundamental
principles of programming in Cocoa, such as bindings. Cocoa Bootcamp
instructor, Aaron Hillegass, recently re-structured the curriculum,
incorporating Core Data and other exciting new Tiger features into the
existing syllabus. These updates are vital in helping students emerge from
the intensive, five-day bootcamp armed with the most cutting-edge skills
available to Cocoa developers.

(http://www.bignerdranch.com/classes/instructors.shtml#ahillegass) Aaron
Hillegass, whose experience as a Cocoa developer makes him the ideal
instructor for Cocoa Bootcamp, boasts an extensive career in development
and instruction. His book, Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X, has rapidly
become one of the fundamental reference books for Cocoa Developers and is
the primary text used for class.
