* fmMailscan, an application that enables the scanning of incoming email
messages, the extraction of data and the writing of that data to a
FileMaker Pro database. Data may be extracted from any email message field
and used to create a new record in a database or to identify an existing
record and then to update or delete it. An invaluable tool for anyone
wishing to store information received by email into a FileMaker Pro
database. The applications main features are -

* Supports email clients Eudora, Outlook Express, Entourage, and
Powermail
* Supports extraction of any string of characters from any email
message field

* fmWebtags, an application that supports the merging of data from
FileMaker Pro databases with static web pages. The application allows the
embedding of custom tags that point to specific data within a FileMaker Pro
database, into web pages. Once a set of tags have been embedded into a web
page, the page becomes a template which may then be processed later to
replace the tags with live data. The resulting page may then be deployed to
the web server. An invaluable tool for anyone with a static web site that
displays data from infrequently changing databases. The applications main
features are -

* Provides a simplified method for embedding custom tags
* Can process embedded tags for entire folder of web pages
