NEW APPLE FEATURE PRESENTATION ADDED TO LINE-UP AT MACWORLD SAN FRANCISCO 2002

upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo/San Francisco 2002. Avie Tevanian,
Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering, and Philip Schiller,

feature presentation entitled "Power of X" at Macworld Conference & Expo on
Tuesday, January 8, 2002 from noon until 1 p.m. Macworld will be held at
San Francisco's Moscone Center, January 7-11, 2002.

Open to all Macworld conference attendees, the feature presentation will
focus on Apple's revolutionary operating system. The presentation will
serve as a follow-up to the opening keynote, which will be presented by
Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Monday, January 7, 2002 at 9 a.m.
