AquaFold releases first Enterprise heterogeneous database tool for OSX

Mountain View, CA -- 6/7/2004 -- AquaFold, Inc today announced the latest
version of Aqua Data Studio, which provides enterprise and database
administration features for all major relational databases. With a growing
number of developers using OSX as their desktop environment, the need for
tools to help them build applictions for OSX is increasing.

Aqua Data Studio is the first and only tool to provide a complete database
administration and query tool for OSX. Aqua Data Studio provides an
integrated database environment with a single consistent interface to all
major relational databases. Developed with the Java programming language,
Aqua Data Studio supports all major operating systems, including Microsoft
Windows, Mac OSX, Solaris and the Linux operating system.

The new release introduces the ability to visually create and alter
database schema objects, including storage objects for databases. Visual
editing provides database developers and administrators an easy way to
develop and manage any database. The new visual explain plan provides
users with the ability to create explain plans and generate diagrams to
quickly understand and analyze the operations of any query to optimize
speed and performance.

Schema extraction now provides the ability to extract the definition of any
database object including security and storage objects, providing database
administrators quick access to the SQL definition for any administration
task. The new import tool provides an easy and consistent interface to
import data into any database from different data sources. Additional
database support includes Oracle 10g, PostgreSQL 7.4 and MySQL 4.0.

Aqua Data Studio provides an integrated database environment with a single
consistent interface to all major relational databases. This allows the
database administrators and developers to tackle multiple tasks
simultaneously from one application. Aqua Data Studio's sophisticated Query
Analyzer allows users to work on database scripts with specific RDBMS
syntax highlighting and auto-completion to develop and test scripts. Aqua
Data Studio is similar in functionality to tools from leading vendors such
as BMC Software (BMC), Embarcadero Technologies (EMBT) and Quest Software
(QSFT).
