ACD SYSTEMS LAUNCHES ACDSEE FOR MAC 1.6

Software now compatible with Mac OS X

Victoria, British Columbia -- June 28, 2001 - ACD Systems International
Inc. (TSE:ASA), the digital imaging company, today announced the release of
ACDSee for Mac 1.6, the most complete and user-friendly digital imaging
software for the Macintosh operating system. This latest version is
targeted at professional and amateur photographers, digital video
professionals, graphic designers, and other users that manage large
collections of images.

ACDSee for Mac 1.6 maintains the same easy to use interface, high-speed
image viewing and print enhancement features as the previous version. The
upgraded software can now be run in conjunction with the OS X operating
system as well as with earlier Macintosh operating systems. Additional
enhancements include read support for EXIF Jpeg, allowing users to view all
text metadata information about the image, and TWAIN support, enabling
ACDSee to interface with TWAIN-compatible scanners.
