the immediate availability of 4D InstallMaker 1.0, a completely visual
development environment for building cross-platform installers. 4D
InstallMaker 1.0 runs on Mac classic and Windows platforms, with Mac OS X
currently under development. 4D InstallMaker 1.0 is available immediately
at (http://www.4D.com/4DInstallMaker) for a special introductory
subscription rate of $349/year for a limited time (regularly $399/year). 4D
InstallMaker 1.0 can be run in demo mode indefinitely for free with
4D-sponsorship banners and limited customization features.

Easy and Comprehensive Installer Development

4D InstallMaker is comprehensive and user-friendly, with absolutely no
programming required. Each installation project can be simulated in a
"test" mode, without quitting the application. Allowing up to twelve
languages per project, installer messages can be customized individually
for each language. For security, 4D InstallMaker handles module
serialization, allowing developers guaranteed protection of application
parts, or the application as a whole. For timesaving update installation,
4D InstallMaker defines overwrite settings for pre-existing elements. 4D
InstallMaker was developed entirely within 4D.
