Today, 24U Software announces the release of a new version 3.0 of 24U Email
OSAX! This Scripting Addition allows you to automate your e-mail
communication directly using scripts. Now with the ability to attach files
to your e-mail!

What is new in version 3.0

- ability to send attachments
- support for Apple Single, Apple Double, BinHex and Base-64 encodings
- ability to authenticate with a POP3 server before connecting to SMTP server

What is 24U Email OSAX?

This Scripting Addition extends your AppleScript by an ability to send
electronic mail directly, without need of any additional application. You
can e-mail quickly and easily from your scripts (i.e. CGI, Folder Action,
database). 24U Email OSAX simply automates your e-mail communication with
AppleScript and your computer can do all the boring e-mail work for you.

Primary functions, useful especially for scripters and Mac server
administrators:

- send e-mail directly from AppleScript (i.e. CGI, Folder Action)
- no additional application required (i.e. e-mail client)
- send e-mail directly from databases
- multiple recipients in all the To, Cc and Bcc fields enabled
- send files as attachments without using e-mail client
