Movea says its US$79.99 Gyration Air Mouse Elite with MotionTools (http://www.gyration.com) is now available for Macs using Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6. Mac users can now benefit from the ergonomic Air Mouse Elite with SmartMotion technology, "bringing the intuitive simplicity of motion to their lives: from the living room, to the boardroom, to the classroom," according to Bryan Hoadley, EVP of worldwide sales and General Manager of Movea.
With the Air Mouse Elite, natural hand movements drive more powerful presentation delivery, more interactive classroom lectures, more immersive game play, and more convenient access to online and home media center digital entertainment, he adds. The device has a 100-foot rangeand no line-of-sight requirements gives presenters the freedom to move around the room to captivate and engage audiences.
The Air Mouse Elite is also equipped with Movea’s MotionTools software -- a suite of effects and tools that allow users to customize, activate and control with the flick of their wrist.  MotionTools includes a wide range of tools for Internet browsers including Safari, media players such as iTunes, and presentations.
The Air Mouse Elite with MotionTools enables a presenter to turn the mouse cursor into a highlighter, laser pointer or pen, or gently swipe it in-air to activate embedded media and other special effects. At home, users can control mouse-based applications on their desktop computer or media center connected TV.
